Obitsu custom

I painted an Obitsu 01 head in white skin tone yesterday, experimenting slightly with painted lines over her lips like they do on BJDs. I also gave her purple eyes courtesy of some new Liquitex colours I ordered from Japan. It's interesting to note Azone is distributing (and manufacturing?) Liquitex for doll customizers in Japan. They cost around $2 a tube, so it's pretty economical for colours I'm using less often (magenta, purple and dark blue for instance). ^^

She's lovely! Did you make the costume too?? It's stunning!
A gothic lolita style...

she looks lovely!
A wonderful combination of the pale coloring and the violets and lavenders...

I have to say that I admire the way you paint eyes. They always look--err--how to say this...they look round and youthful but not childlike. If I could paint roundish eyes I'd be stoked. ;P

Thanks for your comments Kizzy and Erica!

I didn't make her clothing, haha, but I bought it from Volks. If you're interested it's in stock in their online store. A mite pricey but it's quite an elaborate outfit!

She looks lovely! What body is she on? Midi? :3

I wanted to buy that outfit from Volks but I was afraid it would stain. It's ok?

Yep, the outfit's made for the Midi body. I took it off to check for any stains, and fortunately she seems clean. I've had the outfit on this body a few months now. So I guess it's ok. :)
